Pet Care
During the grooming process all care is taken to ensure the health of your pet is considered. One Stop dog Shop groomers are not liable for any pre-existing conditions and problems found during grooming. Any advice given regarding health problems should be checked out by a vet.
De-matting
In the event of matted fur needing a clip down, the owner should be aware that irritation may occur from the shaving process. Due to matts sometimes being tight to the skin, the dogs skin may get caught because of the close proximity of working to the skin. The owner agrees that One Stop Dog Shop shall not be held liable for any after grooming effects of matt clipping procedures or problems 'uncovered' on a badly matted neglected coat. The owner agrees to pay all costs for the grooming of the dog including de-matting, whether or not the groomer is able to complete the job. Please Note: guarantees will not apply, in the event of a grooming injury to any dog with a badly maintained coat, matting etc.
Aggressive Dogs
One Stop Dog shop reserves the right to refuse to groom or micro-chip any pet for the safety of the Groomer and the dog. The owner agrees to inform One Stop Dog Shop, prior to their appointment , if the dog has bitten or has aggressive tendencies. The owner understands that they will be held liable for all bites caused by their dog.
Money Back Guarantee
The money back guarantee only applies to genuine complaints of which will be fully investigated by One Stop Dog Shop. The initial complaint must be received by One Stop Dog Shop within 24 hours after the grooming of the pet in question. Guarantee of service and any refunds , will only be considered if a customers dog has been groomed professionally, 8 weeks prior to bringing them to One Stop Dog Shop . This is so that the dogs coat is in good condition and free from any knots or matts. Please Note:This guarantee will not apply to dogs with pre-existing illnesses or dogs with poorly maintained coats, matting, etc or dogs that are aggressive or badly behaved.
Show Cuts
Please be aware that all our groomers are professionals, that are trained to trim, cut and clip your dog to a basic pet clip standard, as that is what the vast majority of pet dog owners require. We stress that we do not clip any breed of dog to Show standard, as specialist clips can range widely from breed to breed.
£5 Discount Offer
The £5 discount applies to every customer you recommend to us that books and uses our service for the first time. This discount applies for up to 3 bonifide referrals between your visits.
Customer Loyalty Schemes
- The dog/dogs must be rebooked in with your One Stop Dog Shop Groomer immediately after your dogs groom/wash on the day of the groom, for all loyalty schemes to be valid.
- If for some reason any appointment cannot be kept, the One Stop Dog Shop office must be informed within a minimum of 48 hours notice of the appointment date and the necessary re-arrangement of the booking must be made. Failure to do this may result in losing your loyalty discount.
- The "half price" discounts on wash , groom and conditioning apply from 1st January 2012 onwards.
- The "half price" discount only applies if used within 12 months of the initial first groom.
- The half price discount on all inclusive services, the dog must be booked in immediately after their initial groom for 4 consecutive appointments within 12 months of the initial groom, of which must be paid for in full. Cancellation rules apply as above, but the appointments still have to be completed inside 12 months of the initial groom. At the end of the 5 grooms, the owner has the choice to repeat this offer. Please note: Failure to keep to your appointments will result in you losing the discount and to then be subject to current prices.
- One Stop Dog Shop reserves the right to review and alter their prices at any time.

Cancellations
Missed appointments will incur a fee of 50% of the standard grooming charge. This also applies to cancellations with less than 24 hours notice given.
